As followers of Jesus, we are never alone. This amazing promise from God means Jesus has not and will not abandon us!
Jesus knew what it was like to feel alone! He understands when we feel the same way. Consider the following:
- Jesus left His Father behind in heaven to come to the earth.
- Jesus own brothers and sisters did not believe in Him until after the resurrection. That means he went over 33 years with his siblings thinking he was a fraud, a deceiver, or insane.
- Jesus prayed alone in a garden the night of His arrest.
- Jesus felt alone on the cross even crying out why His father had forsaken Him!
