Jesus, Charlie Brown And The Peace Of Christmas!

Who can forget the touching moments created years ago on the Charlie Brown Christmas Special? Magical characters reminding us that 2,000 years ago the angels said, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace, good will to all men.” (Luke 2:14)

This amazing peace the Son of God offers is still a possibility today, if individuals and nations repent of their sin and receive God’s gift of Everlasting Life!

Most however, still reject peace and the repentance required to bring it to pass in their lives. We live in a world that continues to “call evil good and good evil.” We pretend we can change the commandments of God when they inconvenience us and then cling to His promises when we decide we want them.

Sin always brings Conflict. It is inevitable. Life and sin brings pain. God though Jesus brings peace!

Peace is linked to our determination:

“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for Thou, Lord, only make me dwell in safety.” (Ps 4:8)

Peace is a reward:

“Great peace have they which love Thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” ( Ps 119:165)

Peace Must Be Received:

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (Jn 14:27)

These are amazing promises and they still work today!

Christmas is tomorrow…!

What does that mean for many believers?

A God ordained season to focus on the souls of those you love the most….Your Unsaved Family and Friends.

Christmas, like no other time of the year produces Kingdom Connections and Time Sensitive Open Doors to influence those we love for Jesus. We may not have the same opportunity next year.

Expect Gods word wrapped in your love to make a difference. God’s word will never return to Him void or empty once it is released through your mouth.

Listen for His voice of guidance. He will help you. Remember…He wants to reach them more than you do!

Christmas Peace is really Jesus Peace. It comes when His salvation and blood washes our sinful hearts clean.

May God use us all this Christmas Season to lead those we love to the one who first loves us all!

Merry Christmas!

(Feel free to post the first names of those in your circle who are not yet saved so myself and other readers can pray for them as you reach out to them this Christmas)
